INSPIRING YOUNG MINDS SINCE 1971 · MAYWOOD,NJ

For over 50 years, Maywood families have run this little school together. A nurturing, play-based classroom for children ages 2-4, built on a close community of families and teachers.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Run by families, for their littlest learners

"Cooperative" means our families own the school and govern it through a volunteer board.

This is what makes the Co-Op warm, personal, and truly community-run.

Families elect a volunteer Executive Board that sets policy, hires our staff, and runs the events and fundraisers everyone looks forward to — a true cooperative.

Math, language, music, and movement arrive through themes and play that spark a preschooler’s vivid imagination.

We prepare children (and their parents) for that big first day, always at each child's own pace.
